Why do I get a Pocket PC Error When I Uninstall SlingPlayer Mobile for Windows Smartphone


If you are lucky enough to have SlingPlayer Mobile installed on both a Pocket PC device and a Windows Smartphone, you may get the error below when uninstalling SlingPlayer Mobile for Windows Smartphone. It only happens occasionally if you have both versions of the SlingPlayer Mobile already installed and are trying to uninstall using the Add/Remove Programs tool on your Windows PC.


"This installation is intended for Pocket PC device."


Don’t worry — you can ignore this message and continue with the uninstall. The correct version of SlingPlayer Mobile will be removed from your system.
