No video signal from your Slingbox HD Connect input
We are currently investigating reports of Slingbox PROs receiving either no signal or an error screen from your HD video source through the Slingbox HD Connect A/V input.
In most cases, we are finding that the set top box is limiting the functionality of the component out ports when the HDMI port is in use. But we are still trying to identify which set-top box and TV combinations are problematic.

You can work around the issue by using the component pass-through function of the Slingbox HD Connect to your HDTV. To do this, connect your set-top box to your Slingbox HD Connect via component cables. And then attach component cables from the Slingbox HD Connect to your HDTV.
I get no video with any SlingPlayer on the PC, the Mac, or even on Sling.com. I can't stream video at all. Why? If you have video equipment that connects using an HDMI cable and then try to stream, you may get extremely poor or no video in SlingPlayer for Windows, SlingPlayer for the Mac OS, or at Sling.com. Even after you double-check all of the cables and make sure that everything works, there may not be any video from your Slingbox. This article explains why this happens and it includes a workaround.
