Privileges (permissions) error when installing SlingPlayer for Mac
If you get a "you do not have sufficient priveleges" error message when you try to install the SlingPlayer application, don't worry. It's easy to fix. The error message will say:
This typically happens when you have an older version of SlingPlayer in your Applications folder and you drag the new one from the opened SlingPlayer disk image (slingplayer.dmg) to the same folder. Instead of the old one being replaced by the new one, you get this error message.

SlingPlayer with the beta or release candidate versions of Windows 7 or Internet Explorer 8 If you're running the beta version of Internet Explorer 8 in either Windows XP, Vista, or Windows 7, you may encounter unexpected behavior. You may also have problems with the beta version of Windows 7. You may also have problems with the release candidate versions of these products.
