Slingbox PRO-HD offers both analog and digital audio

If you've set up your Slingbox PRO-HD for component (red, blue, green) input, you also have the option of using either analog or digital audio. You can tell which is which this way:

  • Analog audio uses two cables, one with a red connector, and one with a white connector;
  • Digital cable uses only one cable, usually with an orange connector.

The input connections on the PRO-HD's back panel are color-coded to reflect this. You can change the audio input at any time by using the Slingbox Setup Assistant.

To use the Slingbox Setup Assistant:

From SlingPlayer 2.0 for Windows, choose Setup Assistant from the Settings menu.
