When your SlingCatcher locks up or crashes. Symptoms:
- Your SlingCatcher suddenly stops responding to the
remote control, even after waiting a few minutes and checking the
batteries in the remote control.
- Your SlingCatcher is unable to connect to SlingProjector, even after you've checked your modem, router, and all of the nework connections.
- After you've been watching your SlingCatcher for a long, long time and the screen freezes. Your screen will look like you've hit the Pause button but with no sound. Your SlingCatcher will also be unresponsive to the remote control if this happens.
- You've added a Slingbox to your Sling Account after the initial setup of your SlingCatcher. The newly added Slingbox doesn't show up in SlingCatcher.

| Pressing and holding the reset button for 10 seconds |
Your SlingCatcher will go back to factory default settings. All of your customizations will be removed. This includes Slingbox passwords, color button customizations, network settings, and video resolution settings. The SlingCatcher Software (firmware) will be downloaded again and will be reinstalled. |
