Occasionally, SlingCatcher may display an error code while you use it or while the SlingCatcher Software (its "firmware") is being updated. This error code will be a number between 0 (zero) and 21. These errors are rare.
If this happens to you:
- Unplug the power adapter from the wall outlet.
- Make sure that your network connection is reliable. These problems can sometimes be caused by an intermittent network connection. The connection must have uninterrupted and consistent download speed.
- Wait 10 seconds, and then plug in your SlingCatcher and try again.
If that doesn't solve the problem, don't worry. Give us a call and one of our agents will help you. In order to get you up and running as soon as possible, call us--don't use our online chat or our email service. The agents need to ask you a series of questions about your setup in order to get to the bottom of the problem.
When you speak to our agents, make sure that you give them the error code number.
