My Slingbox isn't configured yet, can I do it using Web-based SlingPlayer?
No, first you need to fully-configure your Slingbox using either SlingPlayer for Windows or SlingPlayer for Macintosh.
With either platform, we strongly recommend that you make sure you're using the latest version of the standalone SlingPlayer software. Not only does this ensure that you're enjoying the latest features on your PC, but it also gets you the latest Slingbox Software for your Slingbox (that's the internal Software that your Slingbox uses, sometimes called firmware.)
