The backlight on your BlackBerry may turn off while you're streaming from your Slingbox

Sometimes when you're streaming a TV program using SlingPlayer Mobile for BlackBerry, you may find that your device's screen goes black for no apparent reason. This happens because the backlight turns off.

We're investigating this, but it appears to happen when the Backlight Timeout is set to 10 seconds. If this happens to you, try setting the Backlight Timeout at a higher interval, such as 2 minutes.
