Once you get SlingPlayer Mobile up and running, you may want to know about shortcuts so that you can move around the application more quickly. Here are the keyboard shortcuts that can be used to control SlingPlayer Mobile for Blackberry:
- Rotating through the control Ribbons: Use the SPACE KEY to rotate through the three control Ribbons (the main Ribbon, the Remote Ribbon, and the Favorites Ribbon).
- Direct channel entry: Use the ALT key for direct channel entry. You can press ALT, then enter a single-digit channel number, which sends a "change channel" signal to your Slingbox. For multi-digit channels, you can either press and hold ALT with one thumb as you press the number keys with the other thumb, or you can press and release ALT separately for each number.
- Finding key shortcuts: It's easy to find the key shortcuts for the Remote Ribbon buttons that control your AV device: just look beneath the Ribbon for the single letter that's displayed in a different color (next to the button description).
