Web-based SlingPlayer is asking me for an Alias, a Slingbox ID, and a password

Web-based SlingPlayer is asking me for an Alias, a Slingbox ID, and a password. Where do I get that information?

You can find this information by using the SlingPlayer desktop software:

  1. On your computer, open SlingPlayer.
  2. Navigate to your Slingbox Directory.
  3. Click once on the Slingbox you need info for.
  4. Click Edit.
A new window opens where you can get this information.

Note: When setting the Alias in Web-based SlingPlayer, you use the same name as in your SlingPlayer desktop software, or use a whole a new name. It's up to you.
