Slingbox 1.0, also known as the Slingbox "Classic"
The Slingbox "Classic" has an analog cable TV port, two S-Video ports, and two mini-A/V ports. This Slingbox can be connected to one audio/video device.
Connect the cables from your video device to an IN port, and then connect the cables that go to your TV to one of the OUT ports. Make sure that you use the same type of port on both the IN and OUT ports (mini-A/V with mini-A/V, S-Video with S-Video, etc.).

Slingbox TUNER
The Slingbox TUNER has two coaxial ports for connecting to analog cable (One is for IN and the other is for OUT). The Slingbox TUNER can only be connected to an analog cable TV line.
Connect an analog line from your cable TV company to the IN port. Connect a cable that goes to your TV to the OUT port.

Slingbox AV
The Slingbox AV has one set of composite ports and an S-Video port. The Slingbox AV can be connected to one audio/video device.
For video, connect the composite cable or the S-Video cable. For audio, connect the audio cables from your audio/video device to your Slingbox AV.

Slingbox PRO
The Slingbox PRO has two groups of ports. The left group is for OUTand the right group is for IN. Both groups have one set of composite ports, an S-Video port, and an analog cable TV port. The Slingbox PRO can be connected to up to four audio/video devices:
One composite video device with composite (analog) audio
One S-Video device with composite (analog) audio
One analog cable TV line
With the optional HD Connect, the Slingbox PRO can connect to an HD device with component connections
To connect
the Slingbox PRO to an HD source, use an HD Connect cable. The HD Connect has IN and OUT component ports.
Connect the cables from your video device to the IN ports, and then connect the cables that go to your TV to the OUT ports. Make sure that you use the same type of ports on both the IN and OUT ports (composite with composite, component on the HD Connect with component on the HD Connect, etc.).
NOTE: The HD port on the Slingbox PRO is for the Slingbox HD Connect cable only. Its physical
design is not intended to accommodate an HDMI connection.

Slingbox PRO-HD
The Slingbox PRO-HD has two rows of ports. The top row is for IN and the bottom row is for OUT. Both rows have one set of composite ports, an S-Video port, and a set of component ports. Each set of component ports has a digital audio port. It also has coaxial ports for analog or digital cable TV. The Slingbox PRO-HD can be connected to three audio/video devices:
One composite video or S-Video device with composite (analog) audio
One component device with analog or digital audio
One analog or digital antenna/cable TV line. Supports Analog and Digital TV and Analog and Digital (unscrambled) Cable.
Connect the cables from your video device to the IN ports, and then connect the cables that go to your TV to the OUT ports. Make sure that you use the same type of ports on both the IN and OUT ports (composite with composite, component with component, etc.).
