What makes a Sling Account so useful with SlingPlayer Mobile for BlackBerry?

Having a Sling Account is very useful with SlingPlayer Mobile for BlackBerry, especially if you connect to more than one Slingbox. But every Slingbox user can benefit from having a Sling Account.

With a Sling Account, you can synchronize your Channel Favorites and your Slingbox Directory info back and forth between SlingPlayer 2.0 for Windows and SlingPlayer Mobile for BlackBerry.

Note: If you don't log into your Sling Account, you can still add a new Slingbox to SlingPlayer Mobile for BlackBerry, and you can stream from this added Slingbox. But the new Slingbox info isn't synched back to your Sling Account or to SlingPlayer 2.0 for Windows.

Bottom line: Sling Accounts are useful, free, and a snap to set up. It's a free service that comes with your Slingbox.
