SlingStream optimizes video as it is sent and received over the Internet. SlingStream optimization generally provides the best possible video experience for most viewers.
It's easy to enable SlingStream optimization:
Choose SlingPlayer Options from the Settings menu, then click the Encoding tab.
Make sure that both the Local Access and the Internet Access drop-down menus say Automatic.
Note: In the initial streaming process, you may notice jittery video as SlingStream optimizes and adjusts the stream for the first time. This is normal. It'll smooth out in a moment.
