Here's the basic information about what your Sling Account can do for you.
A Sling Account stores your Slingbox ID and SlingPlayer settings (like passwords and Favorites), keeping them all in one place. These products work with your Sling Account:
- Watch on Slingbox.com
- Setup on Slingbox.com
- SlingPlayer Mobile for:
- iPhone/iPod touch
- Android
- Windows Mobile
- BlackBerry
- SlingPlayer 2.0 for Windows
- SlingCatcher
Once you have a Sling Account:
- Log into it with SlingPlayer or SlingPlayer Mobile by entering your Sling Account info when prompted.
Your Slingbox settings are automatically downloaded to your computer, your SlingCatcher, or to your mobile device (if it supports Sling Accounts).
How can I get started?
Just create a Sling Account if you don’t already have one. Then log in the next time you use Watch on Slingbox.com, SlingPlayer, SlingPlayer Mobile, or your SlingCatcher. There's no need to do that more than once: the product remembers your Sling Account info after you've logged in the first time.
Creating a Sling Account:
- On your computer, go to the Sling Accounts page.
You can use the Sling Accounts link to the right.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to sign up for a new account.
