Everything you ever wanted to know about creating a Sling Account
Creating a Sling Account is easy and free. A Sling Account stores your Slingbox ID and SlingPlayer settings (like passwords and Favorites). It keeps all of this in one place. Once you create a Sling Account, you can instantly access all of this information from any of the following:
SlingPlayer 2.0 or above for Windows
SlingPlayer for Mac
Watch on Slingbox.com
Some versions of SlingPlayer Mobile
SlingCatcher
Once you have a Sling Account, just log on with it in SlingPlayer or SlingPlayer Mobile, and these settings are automatically downloaded to your computer or SlingCatcher, or to a mobile device that supports Sling Accounts.
What should I do to take advantage of this? First, you need to create a Sling Account if you don’t already have one. Then, the next time you use Watch on Slingbox.com, SlingPlayer, SlingPlayer Mobile or your SlingCatcher, just log in. After you've logged in the first time, the product will "remember" your Sling Account.
