Windows 7? Windows Vista? Windows XP? 32-bit? 64-bit? Keeping up with Windows can be challenging. This article tells you what's compatible with SlingPlayer.

Here's the latest compatibility information for our Windows SlingPlayers:

SlingPlayer for Windows 2.0.3 or later supports:
  • Windows XP Service Pack 3
  • Vista Service Pack 2
  • Windows 7

Web-based SlingPlayer for Windows supports:
  • Windows XP Service Pack 3 (32-bit version)
  • Vista Service Pack 2 (32-bit version)
  • Windows 7 (32-bit version)
  • Internet Explorer 7, 8 (32-bit version)
  • Firefox 2, 3 (32-bit version)

IMPORTANT: Our Web-based SlingPlayer is not currently compatible with the 64-bit versions of XP, Vista, or Windows 7.

If you're running the beta version of Internet Explorer 8 in either Windows XP, Vista, or Windows 7, you may encounter unexpected behavior. You may also have problems with the beta version of Windows 7. You may also have problems with the release candidate versions of these products. The finalized, released versions of these products are fine with SlingPlayer 2.0.3 or later.
