I have Windows 2000, what version of SlingPlayer should I use?

SlingPlayer for Windows 2.0 does not support Windows 2000. You need to use the previous version, which is SlingPlayer 1.5.

You can use the links on this page to download this older version of SlingPlayer for Windows, depending on your location.

Here are the requirements for your Windows 2000 system when using this version of the SlingPlayer software:

  • 1.3 GHz processor
  • 1 GB RAM
  • 150 MB available disk space for installation
  • 24-bit graphics
  • 16-bit sound
  • Network connectivity

The faster your PC and home network are, the better the picture quality will be. When watching your TV outside of your home through your Slingbox, your Internet upload speed is what matters. 256 kbps is the minimum suggested speed. Faster is better.
