Remote Viewing A-Z

So, you've got this Slingbox - and wow, it's pretty cool, right? And what is one of its best and most innovative features? That's right - Remote Viewing! Having the ability to take your TV wherever your life takes you is simply awesome. Your shows, news, sporting events, DVR, video on demand - all streaming live on your PC, Mac or mobile device.

So, how do we make this happen? Well, a big part of it is properly configuring your home network to allow the Slingbox to "sling" the content on your TV out to your remote computer or mobile device via the internet.

Now, we realize that we just threw a couple of scary words at you:

Configure.

And network.

Most folks would turn tail and run for the nearest brainiac nephew or computer-nerd neighbor at this point, but rest assured, this isn't as hard as it sounds. This page was written with you, the fresh-out-the-box Slingbox owner in mind.
