- Which countries are supported?

SlingPlayer 2.0 for Windows is currently only available for customers whose Slingbox is installed in the United States or Canada. Customers elsewhere should continue to use SlingPlayer 1.5 for Windows.
- Can I use SlingPlayer 2.0 for Windows outside of the United States and Canada?

If you are outside of the United States and Canada, but are accessing a Slingbox located within the U.S. or Canada, then all the features in SlingPlayer 2.0 for Windows will function properly.
Note: the SlingPlayer Guide will display what is on based on your computer's internal clock. If your computer is set to a different time-zone than your clocks at home, the guide displays the wrong information.
- What will happen to my Favorites when I upgrade?
- Your Channel Favorites will get converted into the new SlingPlayer 2.0 format. Command Favorites have been replaced and improved upon by the set of new features: the SlingPlayer Guide and Live Video Buffer. For example, you’ll be able to pause live TV with a single click. Or change channels by clicking directly on a program listing. There's no longer a need to create special "shortcut" icons to manage these common tasks.
- Does SlingPlayer 2.0 for Windows support streaming in HD?

SlingPlayer 2.0 for Windows streams in HD if you are connected to a Slingbox PRO-HD, are watching HD content, and the bandwidth is sufficient.

Is my Sling Account information safe?

Yes. The information stored in your Sling Account is primarily used for:
- Storing the list of Slingboxes that you regularly use, so they'll always appear in your Slingbox Directory
- Streamlining the connection process
- Storing your Favorites lists, so they'll be available anywhere that you use SlingPlayer
- Providing you access to Sling Support
The information stored in your Sling Account will NOT be used for:
- Selling, sharing, or divulging your personal data to ANYONE.
